From Momos:
"Aven, he is a collaborator and long-time friend from the other side of the world who has been introducing Ethiopian coffee with Momos for over 5 years. He worked with SNAP, an Ethiopian export company, for many years, but he wanted to introduce specialty coffee more sincerely, so he founded Origin Land Coffee after becoming independent from the company. Now, he is introducing Ethiopian specialty coffee as a representative of a company. I am happy to be able to introduce good quality Ethiopian coffee with him this year as well.
Yabitu Koba is a small town located in Uraga, a lower part of the Guji zone region. The Uraga region is a bit remote from other coffee producing regions, so it takes a full 8 hours to visit. Nevertheless, it is a region with high expectations for producing good quality coffee every year.
This coffee has an impressive red fruit flavor reminiscent of plum. It is followed by a sweet taste like maple syrup and a clean aftertaste reminiscent of black tea, so I recommend you try it."
