Plot was founded in London by Matthew Orchard in 2019. Matthew's journey in coffee began in Brighton when he managed two cafes. After years of working retail, he wanted to be his own boss. Therefore, he helped Can Eren start Kiss the Hippo roastery in London and became an AST (SCA authorized trainer). After a year though, Matthew was ready to start something for himself and bought himself a 35 kilo Loring Kestrel. Therein, Plot was born. A roastery dedicated to buying smaller lots with producers and farmers that Matthew met in person and developed great relationships.
